The Eldeco Group was founded by Mr.  S K Garg, son of Late Dr. K L Garg. Currently he is acting as Chairman of group. Along with chairmanship of Eldeco Group he is taking care of "Dr. K.L. Garg Memorial Charitable Trust", a leading organization working for human welfare. Foundation of this trust was laid by Late Dr. K L Garg father of Mr. S k Garg.

The aim of the Trust is simple ‘to help the weak, the poorest of the poor, helpless, oppressed and needy in the society’.

Mr. S K Garg has started his career as a lecturer, BITS Pilani. He was looking after civil engineering department. 

Thereafter, he started his profession as a consultant in Agra. Concurrent to his consultancy in Agra and nearby towns of Agra he discovered a bright opportunity in field of real estate development. 

Therefore, he established Eldeco Construction Pvt. Ltd. (ECPL) in 1975.

Mr. S K Garg founded Eldeco Group in 1975. Erstwhile he was a civil engineering lecturer in Birla Institute of Technology (BITS), Pilani. 

BITS is a premier engineering institute of higher education located in Pilani, Rajasthan. BITS Pilani offer various graduation and post graduation courses.  Thereafter he worked as a real estate consultant in Agra, Uttar Pardesh.

Mr. S.K.Garg is the chairman of Eldeco Group. Eldeco is a real estate and construction company which is leading itself in north India. Prior to Eldeco, Mr. S.K.Garg was a civil engineering lecturer in one of the most premier engineering colleges in India, BITS Pilani. After that he became a consultant for real estate services and started his practice in Agra. While he was providing the consultant services to his clients, he realized that there is a huge need for a real estate company in this market and it will be a great idea to start one for serving the consumer needs. Based on these observations, he started Eldeco Group in 1975. He started this company to provide business services in Agra and only a few part of UP initially. However, gradually the business increased as the company went public and was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange. It was a big move for the organization, as after that the business expanded in various other parts of UP and northern India as well.

The Chairman of Eldeco Group, Mr. S.K.Garg has taken the company to these heights very well. Under his chairmanship, Eldeco has flourished and has undertaken more than 175 projects and has served over 15000 customers satisfactorily. This all has been possible because of the effective decision making skills of the chairman of the company. He has helped Eldeco in attaining a very positive image in the real estate and the construction sector. His decisions have helped Eldeco in adapting to the latest technologies. He has gathered the staff for the organization which is very apt and skilled in performing their job. This has been due to the apt skills of taking strategic decisions for the company by its chairman Mr. S.K.Garg.

Mr. S.K.Garg has also been a responsible chairman in terms of fulfilling the corporate responsibility for Eldeco. Eldeco organizes many health camps which do free medical checkups for people. Also, he has proposed ideas which have been executed for the welfare of the construction worker’s children in Eldeco. Mr. S.K.Garg has been a wise and charismatic chairman in taking Eldeco to these heights.
